FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is hospitality leadership coaching?

Hospitality leadership coaching is one-on-one or team coaching for leaders in hotels, restaurants, healthcare and other service businesses. An ICF-credentialed coach who knows the industry helps you change specific leadership habits in your own role: decisions, delegation, communication and accountability.

Who is leadership coaching for?

General managers, directors, owners and executives who now need to lead through others, plus leadership teams that need to work better together. Most HLC clients are sponsored by their employer.

How is coaching different from leadership training?

Training teaches a group new knowledge. Coaching helps one leader apply it, changing specific habits in their own role. Many HLC programs combine both.

How long does coaching take?

It depends on your goals. Most clients work with us on an ongoing retainer, long enough to practice new behaviors on the job and for the team to notice the change.

Is virtual coaching effective for hotel and restaurant leaders?

Yes. The coaching is about how you lead, so it works without the coach on property, and it fits around shifts. In-person sessions are available on request.

How much does leadership coaching cost?

Executive 1:1 coaching starts at $7,500, and leadership assessments start at $500 as an add-on. Each service page lists its pricing, and a discovery call helps you choose the right starting point.
